Dr. Donald Reid is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, graduate of the Center for Advanced Dental Studies, Misch International Implant Institute and is both a pioneer and a founding Father of the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry.
Dr. Reid is a long standing member of the American (ADA) and California dental societies, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
After serving with the US Marines in Viet-Nam, Don graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Dr. Reid graduated from Temple University in 1978 where he served as an associate clinical professor. After completing a general practice residency with the United States Navy, Dr. Reid began private practice in 1981.
Dr. Reid and his wife, Marilyn, reside full time in Lake Tahoe. They have four daughters and one son.

Dr. Reid?s artistic eye and clinical understanding are why other dentists come to him. He believes the best dentistry will not stand the test of time unless it?s placed in the proper environment. A healthy mouth and a stable bite are the bedrocks of Dr. Reid?s approach.

Dr. Reid created BiteFX software animations depicting all the destruction effects caused by malocclusions or Temporal Mandibular Disorders. Dr. Reid?s software received world acclaim by the foremost authority and influential clinician in the history of dentistry, Dr. Peter Dawson. Dawson?s Center as well as universities and private institutions around the globe are using Dr. Reid?s software to enhance student?s comprehension of the human masticatory system.
He is involved with both university and private institution research in areas of radiology and dental materials.
