My previous movers were so bad that my move took two days to complete. This time when we had to move again, I did my research thoroughly and Great Lakes Van Lines seemed like a good option as their reviews were too good. The movers they sent were very professional unlike the previous ones. They wrapped all my things ever so carefully, carried them with gentle touches and loaded them onto their highly equipped truck. They were very punctual too. The delivery was made on time and everything arrived safely. The whole move was completed within just a few hours!

What a superb service! The guys were incredible! Very courteous, caring and fast! The guys from Great Lakes Van Lines finished wrapping all my belongings in 4 hours only! They used pads to protect my floors and the front door. They had all tools to get the job done properly. I think it is important to inform I moved my belongings into a new home on the third floor with no elevator and the move was done quite professionally without any problem. I already recommended their service to my acquaintances and shall use them for my future moves!

I have been hoping to go back home for as long as I can remember. I worked hard, saved up and bought myself a house. I was all ready to move in there but finding the moving company was also very hard. The people who helped me move were from Great Lakes Van Lines. They took great care of each and every piece of my furniture. The furniture was bought with hard earned money and it was nice to see people showing them respect. They delivered all my pieces right on the scheduled date. It’s like all the stars aligned and my days of misfortunes were over!

Great Lakes Van Lines is the real deal and did not use unnecessary packing materials. They delivered it and unloaded with the same care and attention as well as accommodated my last minute scheduling changes. The moving company was very professional during every step in the process and had great communication. Total cost was lower than competitors by far. Would hire again in an instant. Moving is stressful and I am happy I went with those guys. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon but if I get transferred, I'll definitely be using these guys

They basically followed me through every step of it and my move didn’t go perfectly but they handled all the issues that came up. Yes I did receive all the services that I have requested. I did my own packing but the blanket wrapping was good. Everything was fine. The crew was very good. For future customers I can say they are good choice. They are worth the money. Great Lakes Van Lines can be trusted. I do recommend them! And yes, they do have good rates.

As a single man, I didn’t really need a moving company given the amount of things I owned. But it became a necessity with the time constraints. I hired Great Lakes Van Lines and wasn’t very sure them. Nevertheless, the movers were very careful while packing my belongings. I couldn’t let go of some of the things that belonged to my father and I asked the movers to take them carefully. They wrapped every piece perfectly in paper and bubble wraps. All my furniture and boxes were loaded into their truck and we were off. These guys definitely made my move easier and I’m thankful for it.

During our recent long distance move, we had a little bumpy ride in the middle of the move with Great Lakes Van Lines which was completely our fault. The packing and loading in our old house went just perfectly but unfortunately they had a long wait while we waited for our new house keys but they were very patient and they sent some help so they unpacked in just over an hour which was so helpful. Overall these 3 young men were full of banter and made it fun. Really impressed with their service, definitely recommend. I can’t really thank them enough already

I got three movers from Great Lakes Van Lines come down to my place to pack the belongings before the moving trailer arrived. The team was fast and efficient under the supervision of their foremen. They completed within the time frame they promised which was the main reason I hired them. The moving quote was quite accurate and differed by only a few dollars more, but this was because I had some extra furniture to be moved. I would certainly recommend these guys!

When I found Great Lakes Van Line, they promised to give me a perfect and unbeatable service. And at the end of the move, they performed better than I expected from them. They were neat & clean, polite, educated, skilled and hard workers. They lifted all our belongings and took it to the 4th floor. They did not get tired! Great Lakes Van Lines was great! They called me to let me know when they planned on arriving after their first job. The three men were quick and efficient. They disassembled my bed and put it back together. They also asked a lot of questions about small details. I even asked them to put extra pads down on the floor and they were more than willing. Overall I was very happy with the experience!

These guys are fantastic. I hired them after seeing their numerous advertisements online. I didn’t know how their services were but the quote they gave me seemed quite fair. They sent 3 movers. All three of them were very experienced. They wrapped up all my valuables within an hour and started moving them to the vans parked in front of my apartment in IL. It was a quite a journey from IL to Baltimore, MD but all my stuffs made it there safely. I must also add that all the movers arrived on time and the delivery was done bang on scheduled time as well. I am very satisfied with their helpful attitude and overall capability of running a moving business.

They came to my house on time, started packing the fragile items first and the other two guys were taking out the big furniture’s. They smoothly completed the packing and loading task in 5 hours. I would like to point out that they delivered everything just the way it was and they protected our walls and floors at our new home. This shows how kind they are!

I really don’t have any issue to stand against this moving company. There was no fracture, no missing and no hassle of my moving. They ensured every moving related step and they protected our furniture by packing and putting into proper boxes. As a result it was a top notch moving experience for me. They worked nonstop until the last box was loaded and placed onto the truck. The skilled crews took down my heavy furniture easily from fourth floor to the ground. Whenever I was anxious for any issue, the foreman helped me to get rid of that puzzle. I am happy with the work of Great Lakes Van Lines!

The first company we hired was complete cheats. But with Great Lakes Van Lines it was completely different. They came to us with a bill that we agreed for and never charged us anything extra. The work quality was excellent and there was no damage of any sort and we were extremely happy with their services. The delivery was made on time as promised and they did manage to do everything they said they would do. Perfect moving experience, without any stress!

The service was excellent and I can't say enough good things about Great Lakes Van Lines. They handled a difficult move with finesse. There was a very large, heavy desk that they managed to dismantle in order to move it. That in itself was a big challenge, but they were willing to take it on. I wasn't even sure it was feasible, but they did it. Also, the work environment was less than ideal, but they persevered in spite of the difficulties. They were respectful and very considerate. Their supervisor also went out of his way to make the move happen under difficult circumstances. Everyone went beyond expectations to help us out and were kind in the process. We really appreciate all that they did. Thanks to all of you!

This was a very organized move and it definitely helped us big time when we were setting the new house. After checking the inventory I was amazed because I did not even see a single scratch. This was again because of the excellent packing and additional care the company had taken to make sure that there was no compromise on the packing quality. They accomplished the job without a single error! I am happy like anything with such timely, smooth, stress free and affordable move. Hats off to Great Lakes Van Lines. They are surely a company one must consider if wanting to move comfortably.

Our experience with the Great Lakes Van Lines team exceeded our expectations. Each team member was uniformly friendly, courteous and helpful. Also, they were experts at their trade -- moving furniture. They moved some rather large pieces of furniture without hitting walls or door trim in both the loading and unloading phases of the operation. It seemed that they took as much care with our belongings as they would their own. All in all, Great Lakes Van Lines made what could have been an extremely trying experience virtually stress free from our initial phone call through the completion of our move.

Great Lakes Van Lines did an amazing job moving my belongings. The movers showed up on time and they packed everything very quickly. They were also very friendly and fun to interact with. The foreman directed the men very expertly. The whole process took just under 2 hours to complete. They made the delivery on time and I was just so glad to see all my valuables reaching my new home in excellent condition.

They did it all without a second’s delay or complaint. The pricing was exactly as they’d quoted before the job with no fees or extras. We were totally pleased with our moving experience. We haven't moved in 15+ years and this was the first time we have used professional movers. The moving crew was on time, efficient and very courteous. There were no issues, nothing broken. The actual bill was within the range estimated. We highly recommend Great Lakes Van Lines.

Great Lakes Van Lines deserves 5 stars for sure. Moving is stressful but these guys made everything about my move an easy process. Prices were reasonable compared to other estimates I got. They answered to all my questions promptly over phone and email. They arrived to the job early and they were very careful with my items and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Notwithstanding that they ensured that we had a smooth sail in our move, these movers did not stop there. They went as far as helping us to put our home in order when we arrived. Never have I experienced a move so organized and efficient as I have this past weekend with Great Lakes Van Lines. I had to move my parents so an assisted living facility and had to keep calling them for updated inventory. The crew was so patient with me and gave a great price. Once they arrived for the move they were clean and efficient and polite with my parents. I was very impressed and will use them again for sure!

I had to move my parents so an assisted living facility and had to keep calling them for updated inventory. The crew was so patient with me and gave a great price. Once they arrived for the move they were clean and efficient and polite with my parents. I was very impressed and will use them again for sure!

I just had Great Lakes Van Lines move my whole office on a busy weekend. We had a lot of computer equipment and tv screens and many big desks, I was worried about some of the items because they are fragile. GLVL handled it like pros, came in packed everything up and carried it off to the truck. I was very impressed with the way they carried themselves. I knew once I saw them at work that I was in good hands. The unloaded into the new office and set up our desks like they were interior designers, I couldn't have asked for a better move. I will hire them in the future for sure!

I just completed my move from Indiana to San Diego with Great Lakes Van Lines. I have got to tell you that they are an amazing company!! From the sales rep to the moving crew, they are in sync non stop. They were all very friendly and were able to calm my fears about move and I felt stress free. I know I will use them again in the future when I move elsewhere. All of my items were packed with utmost care, the rooms were swept up and all in all it was a clean and efficient move. Overall, the service was good and everything was explained very thoroughly. I got a quote over the phone and spent several hours going over everything. There was a little miscommunication at some point of the move which caused a little stress but you guys took care of it and fixed it. For this reason I am giving 4/5 stars.

It is so hard to find moving companies who are experts at long distance transports. It really is a long way I was relocating to and so I had to be extra careful while choosing my movers. I chose Great Lakes Van Lines on the basis of their previous work with one of my colleagues. They didn't disappoint me. Their quote was reasonable; they arrived on time, packed everything right and loaded them correctly. The great thing was that after traveling such a long distance, I was glad to have received all my furniture intact. I was shocked to see how well my valuables traveled such a long way in the very capable hands of these movers.

The only thing I required from Great Lakes Van Lines was to deliver all my belongings in the exact condition they would take them from my house. They did just that! The movers arrived on time. They were very efficient. All the packing and loading was done in an efficient way. The movers were very delicate while packing my breakables. They moved the furniture out in a very systematic manner. I was quite impressed seeing how sincere and organized they were. When they delivered everything, I took an inventory and all my belongings were safely delivered.

I didn’t have the best of experiences with the moving companies. So, for my last move, I wasn’t going to hire any inefficient moving company. I did my research thoroughly and most reviews online pointed towards Great Lakes Van Lines. I called them and got a quote within 10 minutes. On the moving day, 4 movers arrived right on time with all their equipment. They packed all my belongings carefully into boxes and then loaded onto the vans. It was such an organized process that it took almost no time. When the delivery was made, nothing was broken or lost. It was by far the easiest and most cost effective relocation of mine.

Great Lakes Van Lines did such a great job. I was really skeptical about picking a mover after reading and hearing a bunch of bad reviews. This was my first move from state to state and I was very nervous going into a new job as it was. They gave me a great quote and looked really good online and were not a broker so I gave them a shot. They delivered me a really quick move and that's what I needed. The crew was very professional and honest in the way they wrapped my furniture. I'm happy that they put all the belongings back together and put all the boxes in the right rooms for me.

The moving companies quote such ridiculous hourly rates and it’s just baffling to say the least. I was happy to pay exactly what was worth but not a cent over that. I hired Great Lakes Van Lines for my move and asked them several times not to add any extra costs later in the bill. They assured me there would be none and they kept their promise. Their crew was very efficient. I wanted the movers to be very careful with my things but do their jobs fast. Amazingly, the guys did exactly what I asked for. They were very precise with their work and time efficient too. I was very impressed with them.

I really have no words to describe how good Great Lakes Van Lines is. They gave me an amazing quote to begin with. The customer service was prompt and friendly. The movers and the van pulled up in front of my house sharp on the clock. They packed everything carefully and then completed the loading process. I saw them taking a thorough inventory. They made the delivery on time as well. The foreman showed me the inventory and matched it with everything. Nothing was lost, damaged or broken. My belongings made it safely. I am just blown away by their efficiency.

I have realized that the nature of your move is completely dependent on the kind of moving company you hired. I have moved so many times in the past and my moves have always been bad as it is either this stuff is damaged or that stuff is damaged. The last move I had was with Great Lakes Van Lines and I expected it to follow suit. These movers demonstrated professionalism you hardly find these days. They handled the loading and unloading of our stuff professionally and it ended the way we wanted. We arrived at record time and nothing was damaged in the course of the move. I am content with the move for the very first time and I say thank you for the job you guys did.
