Philippe began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Brooklyn, where he handled thousands of cases from start to finish. He tried numerous cases to verdict, carried out lengthy investigations, and conducted many hearings. Philippe has also presented more than one hundred cases to the Grand Jury. As a defense attorney, Philippe has handled a variety of cases including vehicular offenses, financial offenses, drug-related offenses, non-violent and violent crimes, and routine traffic tickets.
In addition to his criminal law background, Philippe has significant civil experience. He has successfully appealed decisions before New York?s Appellate Division First Department. He represents clients in breach of contract claims and multi-million dollar fraud suits, and has represented individuals in the Surrogate?s Court.
