AdCare Rhode Island is the most respectable substance abuse treatment facility in Rhode Island and further. The facility was established in 1975 as an acute care hospital with a ten-bed alcoholism unit, and in 1984 it was completely converted to a full-service alcohol and drug addiction treatment hospital. In 2015, the current inpatient center in North Kingstown was opened.
Inpatient rehabilitation at the rehab facility offers services such as rehabilitation and residential programs, medical detoxification, inpatient family services, and a crisis stabilization unit.
