how should my foot orthotics fit my foot
I have VERY high arches and have been fitted with inserts. the orthotics do not form to my arch.... should they?

The orthotics should fit comfortably in your shoes and under your feet. You should not feet any sharp pain by using them. However, a bit of soreness under the arches of you feet for a first few days is ok.
You should feel a nice support under your feet and your orthotics should feel firm not soft.
