Go to http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites

Find your local area. You may need to navigate a bit to find the list closest to you; click your state then your region.

Once you find your region, click on "post to classifieds" link on left side. You will need to create an account. You will also need to verify your account by email (they send an email to you and you click a link to verify)

Once you account is created, click on you "post to classifieds" and this time you can log in.

You will choose what category to place your listing in - yours would be for sale > furniture by owner. Once he category is selected, you can create your ad. It is pretty self-explantory - title, location, price, description.

At the bottom of the description box, there is a button that says Add/edit images. Click on the button, then click on browse button that appears.

Find the picture on your computer.

When everything is done to your satisfaction, click "continue" button on the bottom of the page. You will get a chance to review your ad. If everything is satisfactory, click continue again. Enter the security code that appear and your ad is posted.

If you photo is too large, it may get rejected. You will need to make it smaller. Use any image editing software to reduce the size of your photo.
