When an inmate is in custody and goes to court for hearing, will he or she get bail reduced?
When a defendant appear before the judge, the DA will have more information about the defendant from the police investigation. If the defendant has a prior criminal history and/ or the DA shows that the defendant is a flight risk, danger to the public the judge deviates from the bail schedule by increasing the bail the bail amount. There is n guarantee that waiting to go to a hearing that bail will get reduced or OR granted.
