Our landlord served 5 day demand for rent and stated"If the rent is not paid in the 5 days, you must be out by then" The money was offered and refused and told us again, "You have 5 days or I will remove your property myself" and did so setting it out and started ripping up carpet and painting. Now suing for little under 10k. We were not given the opportunity to do ANY cleaning. Is this Illegal in Illinois?
