WHERE IS REAL ESTATE REQUIRED WATER TESTING DONE?
Where do local Greensburg, Latrobe, and Ligonier real estate companies go to have a required water test/analysis done in order for a sale/transaction to be complete?

Although it varies by area and mortgage company, I have found that most FHA loan officers like to see a bacteriological water test prior to the final approvals of a mortgage for a specific property. I once was told that this is only for property's that have been vacant for several months, but also told that it is for every mortgage.

Regardless of this requirement, I would not buy a property with or without a mortgage without first having the well tested and water checked for bacteria, hardness, iron, pH, and any other local contaminates which are common in the area.
